Is-sinjal għal XAGĦAR MAGĦQUD għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal XAGĦAR b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ F bis-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej imissu u s-swaba’ l-oħra mifrudin u bil-pala tħares ’il barra. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jaqbdu ftit xagħar mill-ġenb ta’ fuq ir-ras. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal GĦOQDA. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ T fuq quddiem bil-pala tħares ’l isfel, jduru darba fuq xulxin imbagħad jinġibdu lejn il-ġnub.
The sign for KNOTTED HAIR has two parts. (i) First the sign for HAIR is made with one hand that takes the shape of F with thumb and index finger touching and the other fingers apart and palm facing outwards. The thumb and index finger hold onto some strands of hair from the side top of the head. (ii) Then the sign for KNOT is made. The hands both take the shape of T with palms facing downwards at the front, they rotate over each other once and are then pulled back towards the sides.
